Lower School

In 3rd and 4th grade at Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy, scholars continue to grow academically while developing independence and responsibility. Students transition between two dedicated teachers who specialize in Humanities and in Math and Science, allowing for deeper instruction, stronger subject mastery, and preparation for middle school expectations. Scholars advance in reading comprehension, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking through engaging, standards-based instruction in science and social studies. The Bible is introduced as a dedicated class where scholars study Scripture and learn about different biblical stories as well as how to apply biblical principles to their daily lives, decisions, and relationships as they grow into confident learners and leaders.

Inside Our Program

We presently offer each Lower School scholar an academic schedule that includes Bible, Phonics, Math, Social Studies, Science, Skills Development, Health, and Physical Education.

electives offered

Lower school scholars have the opportunity to participate in Spanish, Mandarin, Computer Skills, Art, Music and Intro to Recorders (4th Grade Only).

Tribe System

Our objective with the tribe system is to not only enhance scholars' character development but also to provide them with a sense of community and belonging through enjoyable and interactive activities. Each tribe will consist of scholars from various grade levels, promoting mentorship, leadership, and the exchange of diverse viewpoints.
